As stipulated in the bequest of Harold E. Willmsen, a Fund was established to be devoted and utilized in the field of Floriculture.
Award Requirements
Part of the annual income of the Harold Willmsen Floriculture Fund is to be used for the maintenance of the Harold Willmsen Memorial Gardens at the Irrigated Agriculture Research and Extension Center; and the balance used for the Harold Willmsen scholarship(s) to be awarded, in the amount of $400.00 each, to a student or students with a demonstrated interest in Ornamental Horticulture; and that the amount for each purpose and the amount and number of scholarships may be varied in a particular year by recommendation of the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Home Economics and approval of the President of Washington State University policies.
