Henry and Celia Helena (Peterson) Michel established this scholarship, along with John Michel, their son. All since are deceased. Henry graduated from WSU in 1924 in Mechanical Engineering. A scholarship in that area has also been created. John graduated from WSU in 1953 in Business Administration. Celia graduated from WSU in 1924 with a degree in Home Economics. This scholarship in CAHNRS honors Celia Michel and her appreciation of the quality of education she received at WSU.
Award Requirements
The income from this fund shall be used to award scholarships to one or more Washington State University students seeking a degree in one of the various fields of Home Economics, selected according to the criteria established by the College of Agriculture and Home Economics.
