There is hereby established at Washington State University the H. Delight and Orlo H. Maughan Scholarships, honoring Dr. and Mrs. Maughan. Dr. Orlo R. Maughan joined the faculty of Washington State University as Chairman of the Department of Agricultural Economics, a post he held until his death in 1947. Mrs. Maughan joined the WSU faculty in 1948, and became head of her department, Foods and Nutrition, in 1950, a position she held until her retirement in 1973.
Award Requirements
Those considered eligible for scholarships hereunder shall be full time, regularly enrolled graduate students in the departments of Agricultural Economics or Food Science.
