Both Des and Sheila O’Rourke were long-time employees of WSU and saw students struggle financially to stay in school. They seek to help such needy students.
Award requirements:
This fund shall be used to provide scholarships to undergraduates in the School of Economic Sciences. First preference to students who are “need-based”, e.g. to prevent a student from dropping out of school for lack of finances.
