Linda BaileyLinda joined the CAHNRS Alumni and Friends team in 2007. Linda is married to Gary Bailey, they live and farm in St. John, where they raised their three sons, two of whom are Cougs. All three sons are married to WSU alums. Before coming to WSU, Linda served as Administrative Director of the St. John-Endicott Schools’ Foundation. As a former 4-H member, junior leader and leader, Linda knows the benefits of 4-H leadership and credits 4-H with developing many skills she still uses today. During her spare time Linda’s hobbies include reading, walking, snow skiing, wine tasting, gourmet cooking, traveling and spending time at the lake with family and friends.

Melissa BeanMelissa grew up in Stevenson, Washington, and is proud to be a 1994 WSU graduate. In addition to her degree from WSU, Melissa also holds a Master’s degree from Idaho State University. After working 12 years in development for non-profits, she began work in development for higher education in 2008. She joined the WSU CAHNRS Alumni and Friends team in May 2011. Growing up in rural Washington she learned to love the outdoors. She is married to Mike, a professional fly-fishing guide, and is the mother of Karly and Bobby. Melissa is an avid angler and enjoys biking, running, and swimming with her family. Melissa is committed to education and to ensuring that higher education remains accessible.  “I know that WSU is No. 1,” she says. “Go Cougs!”

Living on the border of Idaho and Washington all her life, Janet is a loyal Coug.  She began working at WSU in 1987 as a Graduate Student Coordinator in the College of Education.  In 1990, Janet moved to the College of Business where she spent 16 years working with graduate students and serving as an undergraduate advisor until 2006; where she spent her next six years working at the WSU Foundation. CAHNRS Alumni and Friends became her new home in March 2012. During her time at WSU, Janet earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science and a minor in business.  Janet loves spending time with her young adult children, Todd and Jillian; wine tasting, crafting and reading; and, of course, playing with her miniature schnauzer, Jessie.

Britta Nitcy

Britta grew up 75 miles from Pullman in the logging town of St. Maries, Idaho. She began at WSU in 1990, and in 1994 started with CAHNRS’ Alumni and Friends office. She currently manages the scholarship program, donation accounting and donor stewardship. Britta’s experience and knowledge has kept the office running smoothly through many transitions. Britta spends her free time enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Jeff, and their dog. She was raised around agriculture and cattle farming and has an appreciation for all CAHNRS has to offer.

A graduate from the University of Idaho, Jessica describes herself as a “vandal-coug.” With her bachelors degree in Agricultural Science, Communication and Leadership, she feels right home in the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences. Jessica and her husband, Colton, live in Moscow, ID with their two puppies, tater and tess. Growing up in Riggins, ID, she enjoys all the outdoors has to offer and loves to spend time at the family farm in Lenore, ID.
