Kegel, Elmer and Mabel Memorial Scholarship

Elmer Kegel grew up in Colville, WA.  He received his formal forestry training at WSU, graduating in 1941.  Eight years later he went to work at Colville as a farm forester for Extension.  He worked to bring good management practices to thousands of acres of privately owned timber land in the State of Washington.

The distributions from this fund shall be used to provide a scholarship to an undergraduate student majoring in forest management.
