All tabled material must be labeled as a table and numbered sequentially within a single publication. Each table must be cited by number, in order as referred to in the text. Each table must have a title.

In a designed publication, tables are generally placed close to their in-text reference or mention. Full-page or multi-page tables may be placed at the end of a publication, ahead of any appendix, reference list, or indicia.

Spell out and capitalize “table” when referring to a specific table in running text and in captions: “See Table 1.”

Tables copied or adapted from other sources must be attributed to the original source. If the majority of a previously published table is used or the adaptation is minimal, authors must seek and receive permission from the copyright holder to use the previously published material.
