The scholarship program is designed to encourage and support outstanding, dedicated, and determined students who seek opportunities to expand or enhance their learning beyond the classroom. Scholarships allow students to attend national conferences, support international travel, provide opportunities for leadership training, and fund student internships. You can make the difference.

Program Endowment

In order to create a sustainable platform for establishing transformational learning and leadership opportunities, we seek to endow the program. Endowed funds provide an essential means of generating long-term support. Gifts can be made to build a new endowment or to bolster current endowments. Funding supports international immersion, leadership training, curriculum development, student scholarships, mentoring, and internship opportunities.

Distinguished Professorship

To elevate the programs and activities within the CTLL, we are currently seeking support to create an endowed distinguished professorship to support the director of the CTLL, who will serve as the leader of the center. The intent behind this distinguished professorship is to provide support for the director to develop a strong interface between industry and WSU by co-developing unique internship, mentorship, and experiential learning opportunities for students with industry experts. We invite you to support this important endeavor that will develop a sustainable future in career development, leadership, and fostering success skills for the current and future workforce.

The Living Laboratory

CAHNRS is developing a 30 acre organic demonstration farm to include hands-on learning experiences for students, faculty, staff, alumni and industry partners. The farm includes a Educational Complex that will be a multidisciplinary teaching and outreach center to support all CAHNRS programs. This project will provide enhanced opportunities for students majoring in landscape architecture, interior design, human development, organic agricultural systems, entomology, crop and soil sciences, horticulture, agricultural education, natural resource sciences and economic sciences.

Corporate Partnerships

We are deeply grateful to corporate partners who offer financial support and in-kind goods and services. In order to recognize the contributions of our supporters, we provide an increasing variety of online, on campus, and regional event integration opportunities, including home page representation on our website and eMarketing opportunities through email, content placement, social media, online learning, audio, video, and more.

Corporate partnership provides:

  • Support for student internships
  • Funding for and assistance with student discounts for CTLL leadership programs
  • Travel stipends for international immersion
  • New opportunities for students to participate in career networking and professional development activities
