My research focuses on evidence-informed decision making in pregnancy and birth care. I use qualitative and quantitative methods to examine how evidence can inform birth care decisions and intervention uptake. I also study treatment outcomes of acupuncture for pregnancy and birth concerns. I am currently developing patient-centered, evidence-based birth care informational interventions for childbearing populations
