CAHNRS Food and Agriculture Advisory Council (FAAC)
FAAC is a CAHNRS advisory committee in combination with industry across the State of Washington and WSU administrators. The committee meets each spring and fall to address new challenges from agriculture within the state.

Cereal Variety Release Committee
Cereal Variety Release Committee: The purpose of this committee is to fulfill the Land Grant mission of WSU providing guidance in developing cereal cultivars and the release of new cultivars to enhance profitability and environmental sustainability for the benefit of Washington State citizens.

Cherry Advisory Committee
The Cherry Advisory Committee works closely with stone fruit industry and proprietorial varieties, and WSU faculty.

Tree Fruit Licensing Committee
The Tree Fruit Licensing committee works closely with the Washington Tree Fruit Commission on proprietorial variety releases, advising the endowed chair as to industry research needs.

Wine Science Center Advisory Committee
The Wine Science Center Advisory Committee works closely with CAHNRS College to advise the Viticulture and Enology program commensurate with the excellence in the Washington Wine Industry.

Faculty Research Advisory Committee (FRAC)
The Faculty Research Advisory Committee is a faculty driven body for enhancing the CAHNRS Research environment for excellence in research to solve societal changes and advise the CAHNRS Office of Research in the creation of actionable strategies via a strategic plan that will map and integrate with WSU’s Grand Challenges and to assist in their implementation.

Organic Committee
The Organic Committee works to support and promote organic agricultural research that is of critical importance to Washington State and the Pacific Northwest.

Plant Growth Facility Advisory Committee
Plant Growth Facility Advisory Group: The purpose of this committee is to plan and coordinate new facilities that are in various stages of development, to advise the manager in developing management plans that integrate new and existing facilities, and to develop a relevant fee structure for their efficient and sustainable operation.
