WSU was the only school that offered a 4-year program in fashion on this side of the country. The hands on learning and family atmosphere in the program is what drew me to it when I learned about it when I was just 10 years old. Ever since then, I knew fashion was my passion and I wanted to eventually attend WSU for apparel merchandising!
Favorite Spot on Campus:
I love sitting in The Reunion (in the CUB) for homework, studying, or just a quick bite to eat between classes. It isn’t as stark or quiet as the library, but not as rowdy as the main floor of the CUB. It has a warm and cozy feeling that has always given me a comfortable spot when I need to focus.
Advice for Underclassmen:
Try new things and feel confident about them. Try new clubs or classes, even if they do not correlate with your major. Learning something new (even if you end up not liking it!) will round out your skills. You can never be to knowledgeable.
One Thing You Couldn’t Live Without:
My Keurig! Buying coffee on campus can get expensive because there is a good chance you will develop a dependency on coffee as a busy college student! A $6 cup of coffee just turned into a 50¢ cup of coffee!
