Get to Know Jordan:

Why WSU:

I originally chose to go to WSU because it was a great fit for my major, but over the past few years I’ve discovered so many other reasons to appreciate college life. WSU is a place to make life-long friends and truly challenge yourself. I’ve gained so much more confidence being a WSU student, and I’ve never felt so motivated to be involved on campus. I always look forward to returning to Pullman each year because it’s where my closest friends are. Seeing all of them after summer break is probably one of my favorite experiences!

Favorite Spot on Campus:

I love the Wine Science Center in the Tri-Cities. It’s always bright and a lot of my classmates like to hang out there between lectures.

One Think You Couldn’t Live Without:

I couldn’t live without all of my houseplants during the school year. I have way too many and I love propagating them to give away as gifts to my friends in the Horticulture Club. I’ve had a lot of my plants since freshmen year and I hope to keep them all the way to graduation and beyond!

Advice for Underclassmen:

My advice for underclassmen would be to always go to class. It can be really easy to miss out on class occasionally, but it can be just as difficult to catch up! Keep a planner and try making friends in your classes. It’s great to be organized and always see a familiar face in lecture. It definitely makes things less stressful and more fun!

Keep a planner! Things can feel chaotic at times, but staying organized can help ground you.
