Year in School: Junior

Hometown: Yelm, WA

Major: Agricultural Education

Get to Know Jordan:

Why WSU:

WSU had the major I wanted, which is what drew me to the university originally. After being here for 3 years, my answer has changed: because of the opportunities and atmosphere. It truly feels like a family here at WSU and there are so many opportunities to grow as a leader and as a future professional!

Favorite Spot on Campus:

I really love the view you can get of Pullman on top of the hill on campus! Watching the sunset and having the backdrop of campus? Iconic!

Advice for Underclassmen:

Get involved! Get involved early, try new things, and don’t be afraid to know when to say “no.” The one thing I regret most is not pushing myself to explore new options until later into my collegiate career, but I’ve found some of the best people and had the best experiences since doing so.

What I couldn’t live without:

My planner has kept me alive these last 3 years! I never used one in high school but I found that once I got here, keeping myself organized and scheduled made my busy days (weeks, months, years, etc.) so much easier to handle!
