I immediately appreciated the rural setting of the Pullman campus and the feeling of community that is prominent everywhere around this school.
Favorite spot on the Palouse:
I spent a lot of time exploring the Palouse over the past 4 years and I found countless places that will make you stop just to take it all in. Don’t listen to the people that say it is nothing but wheat fields, they likely haven’t left the city limits.
Advice for Underclassmen:
Make the most out of every day that you get to spend here and never pass up on an opportunity. This is one of the best chances you will ever have to better yourself, make memories, and establish lasting connections with your peers.
One thing you couldn’t live without:
There are two things that I can think of which helped me immenselyin getting through college. My agenda, and the weekend. Without being able to schedule all of my assignments, meetings, and tests I would have failed at time management. Without being able to escape campus on the weekends to get some fresh air and do a mental reset, my motivation would have burned out long before graduation.
