Get to Know Madison:

Why WSU:

As an out-of-state student, I chose WSU because of it’s strong sense of community and school spirit, and for CAHNRS college’s fantastic program!

Favorite Spot on Campus:

Martin Stadium, because I love cougar football!

Advice for Underclassmen:

It can be intimidating at first, but try out absolutely everything you can! You will get out of your college experience what you put into it, so try and take advantage of all the opportunities WSU has to offer.

What did you miss most about being on campus?

I missed the in-person interaction with students and faculty the most. I learn best when I am able to collaborate with others, so not having the ability to work face-to-face with my classmates was a challenge for me. Now that we are back to in-person instruction, going to study groups and my professors’ office hours in person has significantly helped.
