What is special about being a CAHNRS Coug?

The CAHNRS community is so tight knit and supportive, and I have never doubted if this was the right place for me. The CAHNRS faculty genuinely cares about seeing their students thrive, and have always treated us like equals. Being a CAHNRS Coug challenges you to be the best student and individual you can be, while building you up and providing resources to succeed after graduation.

Why did you choose WSU?

I have lived in Oregon my whole life (and loved it!!), but I really wanted to get outside my comfort zone for college. WSU was the first school I toured, and I instantly fell in love with the cougar community and small town of Pullman. It was just what I needed being an out of state student, and was the best choice I could have made for myself!

Why should a prospective student choose a CAHNRS major?

CAHNRS has such a diverse range of majors and minors – there really is an area of study for everyone! We have the most involved and passionate faculty that will go above and beyond for their students.
