Get to Know Megan:

Why WSU:

I chose WSU because of the diversity of learning programs available to me. I felt comfortable that if I needed to make a change, I would be able to find a career path that fit me all in one place. Not to mention that both of my parents attended WSU as well as my brother, it’s a family thing I guess!

Favorite Spot on Campus:

My favorite spot on campus is definitely the top of the Terrell Library. That place is so peaceful and has such an interesting architectural history. On a sunny day, it’s the perfect place to look out over the Palouse, and it’s right in the middle of campus!

Advice to Underclassmen:

My advice to underclassmen would definitely be to find a community that you truly enjoy and a place that you can build friendships. Whether that be a study group, a work environment or a club, it’s really important to surround yourself with people who might have similar interests to you because they’re the people who will keep you going. I would recommend joining a club that has a connection to your major because future careers like to see you involved in something related to your industry, additionally, it gives you leadership opportunities and you surround yourself with people that are probably in the same classes as you.
