Get to Know Nick:

Why WSU:

As cliche as it sounds, WSU CAHNRS made this university seem like a second home to me, and the fellow students and staff are what sold me on WSU.  No other school seemed to offer this “family” atmosphere where you were able to connect with fellow students and staff as much as WSU.  I don’t think there has been a single day at WSU where I walked across campus and didn’t see at least one person I knew.  And that is what I love about WSU.

Favorite Memory on Campus:

As a college football fan, I can probably count on one hand the number of days where I did not watch/listen to College Gameday.  So I can say, without a doubt, myfavorite Pullman memory was on October 20, 2018 starting about 1 AM.  Standing in line waiting to get into the “pit”, making a giant Uncle Rico sign, making it on national television on the show I would wake up at 6 AM for every Saturday, and of course beating the Ducks, was a day I will never forget!

Advice for Underclassmen:

My advice for underclassmen is to get involved! Push your comfort zones! Some of the greatest opportunities and experiences come from getting involved and breaking those personal barriers.

One Thing You Couldn’t Live Without:

One thing I have had in college that I could not have lived without has been instant mashed potatoes.  Growing up in a house where your mom was an amazing cook, I don’t think I had ever heard of such a thing before college.  However, this has turned into one of my go-to side dishes!  In a pinch (with some much-needed help from some garlic and onion powder), you can turn a rather disappointing looking dinner into a magnificent looking meal, that will for sure make your roommates jealous!
