Get to Know Nicole:

Why WSU:

I chose WSU because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and go to school somewhere where I could be on my own but still have family close by as I have a cousin in Spokane who’s a WSU alum.

Favorite Spot on Campus:

My favorite spot on campus is definitely the area above Holland-Terrell Library. I love hanging out by the library dome and up by the chimes where you can see the Palouse. My favorite memory is probably this last years football game against UCLA because I had family friends that came up to visit their son at Gonzaga and then came down and went to the game and I got to spend time with them, show them around campus, and go to the game with them.

Advice to Underclassmen:

My advice for freshmen would be to just do it. Join that club, go to that event, do anything that you can to get out of your comfort zone because only then will you truly grow as a person.

One Thing I Couldn’t Live Without:

One thing that I can’t live without at college would probably be my laptop because it lets me do my work, I can facetime with my friends and family, and I can watch Netflix. It’s definitely the best tool that I’ve had here.
