Frasier, Fred W. Memorial Scholarship

The family, friends, and poultry industry of the state of Washington to honor Fred W. Frasier, a graduate of Washington State College, created this scholarship. Frasier, prior to his death in 1948, was Extension Poultryman for the Agricultural Extension Service and was recognized in the state and nation for his outstanding contribution to the poultry industry.

Award Requirements

This scholarship, established in 1951, was intended for the sole purpose of Poultry research.  Due to changes in the College of Agriculture including the elimination of the Department of Poultry Husbandry, scholarships shall be awarded to Animal Sciences students who show an interest in poultry nutrition studies and research or to other Animal Sciences majors.
