McCroskey, Marion Flood and J. Houston Scholarship

This scholarship fund was established first in memory of J. Houston McCroskey, a member of the WSU class of 1909, who passed away in 1966. Mr. McCroskey was very successful in the livestock industry, with emphasis on short horn cattle. He later entered the dairy field, becoming manager of the Spokane plant of Carnation Co., a position he held for many years. In addition, he served as president of Carnation, Co. of Washington, Inc. Mr. McCroskey’s wife, Marion Flood McCroskey, was also added to this fund by family members after she passed away.
