Shumway, C. Richard and Janet L. Graduate Fellowship

C. Richard Shumway is a faculty member in the School of Economic Sciences and former chair of the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics.  He has been a graduate educator for over 40 years. This fellowship is made possible from donations from the Shumways’ and their friends and family.

Award requirements:

Fellowship to graduate students in the School of Economic Sciences who have demonstrated high potential for successful graduate study and eventual professional work to resolve economic challenges of high importance to society.

Roughly $700,000 in total awards to hundreds of students annually
