Hackedorn, Howard Memorial Scholarships

The Howard Hackedorn Memorial Scholarship was established at Washington State University in memory of Professor Howard Hackedorn, chairman of the Animal Husbandry Department from 1921 until his death in 1941. Professor Hackedorn came to Washington State University in 1918.

Award Requirements

Those eligible for scholarships hereunder shall be undergraduate students who are certified majors in the Department of Animal Sciences with principal interest in beef cattle, sheep, swine, and/or horses.
