Hansen, Sigfred Theodore Scholarship

Sigfred Theodore Hansen was a member of the Washington State University class of 1928, accountant and farmer who maintained a great interest in conservation until his death in 1955.  This fund is established as a result of contributions made and to be made to the WSU Scholarship and Development Fund for said purpose by his wife, Florence Hansen.

Award Requirements

Those considered eligible for scholarships hereunder shall be full time, regularly enrolled undergraduate students at Washington State University of junior or senior status, in the College of Agriculture who have demonstrated a sincere and conscientious interest in conservation and who have demonstrated a strong interest in farming as a lifetime endeavor.  Within the above limitations, the awards shall be based on financial need and character.
