Viticulture and Enology Scholarship

Posted by nitcy | February 26, 2013

The Washington wine industry has worked with Washington State University to develop a world-class education, research and outreach program leading to a four-year degree in viticulture and enology.

A lot of the donations to make this scholarship possible has come from Chateau Ste. Michelle and Young’s Columbia Distributing partnering with Washington restaurants to support the “Raise A Glass, Fund A Scholarship” program to benefit viticulture and enology programs at WSU and other northwest universities.  The program started in 2008 and more than 300 restaurants participate annually.  These funds make it possible to award scholarships to many students in WSU’s Viticulture and Enology Program.

Award Requirements

The income from this fund shall be used to scholarships to undergraduate and/or graduate students pursuing a degree in the Viticulture and Enology Program.
