Norman Whittlesey was a long-time member of the Agricultural Economics Department faculty at WSU. Retiring in the mid 90’s, he taught both undergraduate and graduate classes, while also mentoring graduate students during his tenure. His research in water policy, value, and management was widely recognized in the agricultural economics profession.
Norman and Cynthia place a high value on education, intending for this scholarship to help many students towards their futures in the economics of agriculture.
