Field crop rowsWSU researchers assessed hundreds of published studies to see how organic farming performed against four key sustainability metrics: productivity, environmental impact, economic viability and social wellbeing. The results were published in the paper Organic agriculture in the twenty-first century by the journal Nature Plants, February 2016. The abstract for the paper can be found here.
