Human Development 205
During the fall semester 2017, students in small groups from two sections of HD205, “Effective Communication and Life Skills”, created viral Innovative Change videos (3min or less) to propose creative solutions to societal challenges. The students learned and utilized the freely accessible Sutori and Adobe Spark technologies to create their work. We highlight below one of the videos that highlights the importance of the CAHNRS mission and was one of the top 6 videos, take a look! Great work students!
Leadership Capstone Course
In collaboration with CAHNRS Academic Programs, an experiential capstone course has been developed to integrate and apply the knowledge and skills acquired by students within their discipline to leadership. During the fall semester, the class utilizes an outdoor education context and in the spring semester a service learning component for integration and application. Taken during the final semesters at WSU, this course offers students high quality leadership experiences that will serve as a supportive foundation as they begin their professional careers.
