Donated by Irene Valeska in honor of Hattie Espy, this 114 acre farm was gifted to Washington State University to support the Hattie Davis Espy Memorial scholarships. The farm generates income to fund scholarships for students from rural and agricultural backgrounds, helping them pursue degrees in fields that strengthen their communities. Through this gift, Irene and Hattie ensured that their land would support both the land and the people who work it.
