The 2013 PNW 4-H Shooting Sports Leader Training will be held April 27-28 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.  We will be offering training in the following disciplines:  Archery, Hunting, Pistol (Handgun), Rifle and Shotgun.  While these sessions are designed to meet the training requirements for Idaho, Oregon and Washington 4-H leaders to then work with youth at their local level, we welcome participants from other states (please just check with your state coordinator to insure compatibility with your respective state’s requirements).  This year we will be featuring  instructors from Idaho, Montana and Washington.

The format for this training will enable leaders to gain certification in 1 discipline in a single day, or 2 disciplines by attending both days – making it a very affordable opportunity for any prospective 4-H volunteer leader.  While we have established a minimum of 4 registrants within a given discipline for that to be held, our experience is that most disciplines fill very quickly; therefore, registering as early as possible is strongly encouraged.  We look forward to hosting another dynamic training this year.
