8:30 a        Stop 1 – Grapevine Nutrition             

Location: Roza Farm; Concord Research Vineyard
How to take soil samples; understanding the differences between whole leaf and petiole tissue testing; causes and effects of Concord blackleaf – Dr. Joan Davenport, WSU-IAREC

9:45 a        Stop 2 – Irrigation Treatments in Concord Production; Nutrient Distribution in the Soil

11:00 a      Stop 3 – Pesticide Spray Trials

Location: Roza Farm; Fungicide Trial Research Vineyard
Learn about how to design a spray program, and review the efficacy of different fungicides tested at WSU. – Dr. Gary Grove, WSU-IAREC

11:45 p      Luncheon at WSU-IAREC Picnic Area

Brief discussion on the new Field Guide for IPM in PNW Vineyards; copies will be available.

1:10 p        Drive to Zirkle Wine Company

Location:  Benitz Road Way, Prosser, WA.

1:30 p        Stop 4 – Zirkle Wine Company

Enjoy a tour where you will learn about grape processing and some of the exciting things being done at Zirkle Wine Company. Tour hosted by Dave Copeland.
