Sponsored by: WSU Extension, the Lincoln County Conservation District, Lincoln Wheat Growers, and the Lincoln-Adams Crop Improvement Association.

WSU Extension will review the dryland agricultural research ongoing Thursday, January 9 at WSU Wilke Research and Extension Farm in Davenport, WA.

Research Aaron Esser will summarize the economics, plus the weed, disease and insect management strategies, of the large scale crop rotations used on the farm.

Diana Roberts will discuss a farmer-driven, cover crop study that is underway in Spokane and Lincoln Counties and will review armyworm and wheat midge management projects in the area.

Participants will also be invited to develop a long-range plan for the Wilke Farm research program.
