Biography

I grew up on a small corn and soybean farm in northwestern Iowa where my passion for agriculture began. I received a B.S. in Agronomy from Iowa State University where I worked in a soybean breeding program. I started at WSU in the fall of 2023 working in Dr. Carter’s winter wheat breeding program. My research focuses on using drone imagery and spectral reflectance indices to help improve the winter wheat breeding process.

Area of research interest:  Winter Wheat Breeding
