The hairy underside of her abdomen, known as the scopa, is full of pollen she worked hard to collect. Braconids often parasitize the larvae\u00a0of pests like <strong>aphids, beetles, leaf miners, flies, <\/strong>and <strong>sawflies<\/strong>. The adults feed on honeydew from aphids, and the aphids themselves. Their larvae parasitize scarab beetle larvae that live in the soil.\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/article>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"Flowers\">Flowers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Wildflower plantings adjacent to apple orchards are carefully maintained by growers.
