Donald W. Rockstrom was a successful Spokane, WA, businessman. His childhood playground was Gonzaga’s campus, and he earned his degree in economics and accounting at Eastern Washington University. He was passionate about higher education and creating opportunities for students. Through his will he established a scholarship for WSU students studying tree fruit or edible crop research and also established an endowment to fund any aspects of WSU fruit tree research.
