Peters, William George and Carolyn Mae Horticulture Scholarship

The scholarship is established by the Peters Family Trust funded by William George and Carolyn Mae Peters.

From the obituary (March 20, 2015) of Carolyn Mae Peters:

Carolyn graduated from WSU in 1951 with a major in horticulture and minors in psychology and Far Eastern history. A talented violinist, she played in many orchestral groups throughout her life, including the WSU orchestra where she became acquainted with her future husband, Bill. As a Washington state educator, she headed the Horticulture Department at Clover Park Vocational/Technical School for 13 years.
