Biography

Dr. Allie Higginbotham is an Associate in Research at WSU’s Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources, and an Affiliate Associate in Research with the Energy Program. She works in the intersection between climate, agriculture, and energy. Current projects relate to understanding the climate footprint of dairies and of other Pacific Northwest agricultural systems. She also contributes to renewable energy initiatives by supporting the Community Solar Expansion Program. She is a geochemist who works on data analysis, data visualization, and geospatial analysis. She holds a B.A. in Geosciences and Environmental studies, a M.S. in Geology, and a Ph.D. in Geology.
