Biography
Samantha attended Penn State University where she obtained a BS in Plant Science with a focus in Horticultural Science. After graduation, she she moved to California’s central valley where she worked in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) facilities. Throughout her time there, she held multiples roles including Head of Fertigation and Clone Production Specialist. In 2023, Samantha moved to the Puget Sound region hoping to pursue a career aligning with her passions for sustainable food systems, and to enjoy the vast natural beauty that the PNW has to offer. She held a summer position with the WSDA Pest Program before joining WSU.
