Biography
Bob Simmons is an Associate Professor with WSU Extension and serves as the Olympic Region Water Resources Regional Specialist. He has over 30 years of experience in providing community-based water resource stewardship programs focusing on Puget Sound and associated watersheds. He has developed and provided a wide range of outreach programs focused on improving stormwater management, including workshops, factsheets, websites, videos, newspaper articles, volunteer training programs and radio programs. He has served as the chairperson of the Washington Governor’s Council on Environmental Education and currently serves as WSU Extension’s State Water Resources Program Leader.
