The winning streak continues for the football team. I think they have won every game I have attended, but this past weekend’s match was very close many, many times. I was up well past my normal bedtime awaiting the final outcome.
I am winding down my initial review of the 22 promotion and tenure packages. The college review committee should finish their reviews next week. After those are submitted, I will prepare my write-ups. While time consuming, this is an important part of my role. Reading about the accomplishments of CAHNRS faculty is also one of the best parts of my job.
I start traveling again next week. This is obvious from this week’s schedule, which is packed with meetings, including a few standing meetings and one with the Washington Grain Commission. I am looking forward to the events on Thursday that center on regenerative agriculture. In addition, I look forward to continuing the conversation about reimagining the student experience. That takes place on Thursday, too. Friday, the CAHNRS Advisory Council meets in Pullman for much of the day. I’m staying busy, but it’s a good kind of busy.
I had better get to prepping for the week …
