CAHNRS Scholarships

At CAHNRS, we believe access to education matters. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we award approximately $1 million in scholarships each year to help students pursue degrees in agricultural, human, and natural resource sciences at WSU.

Our scholarships are designed to support students at every stage of their academic journey—from incoming students to seniors preparing for what comes next.

One Application. Many Opportunities.

You only need to complete one application to be considered for all CAHNRS scholarships.

CAHNRS uses the WSU General Scholarship Application to match students with scholarships based on donor‑established criteria. There are no separate applications for individual CAHNRS scholarships.

How CAHNRS Scholarships Work

CAHNRS scholarships are awarded based on criteria established by donors. These may include:

  • Academic achievement (GPA)
  • Major or field of study
  • Class standing
  • County or hometown
  • Career goals and interests
  • Financial need

Scholarship awards start at $500, with an average award of $1,500. Students may be eligible to receive more than one scholarship.
